Act 4 News Update - February 2017

As you may know, this academic year Act 4 is really focusing on working on our development plan, with particular focus on re-engaging with our local community; schools, churches, supporters and families.

One of the ways we are trying to gather as much feedback as possible is through 'Act 4's BIG Conversation'. Over the course of the year we will be talking to children, families and churches about the ways in which Act 4 can support them; incorporating their needs into our future plans. We have already held a successful supporters meeting in January which provided us with lots of thoughts and ideas which we will be integrating into our plans. Schools and churches have also been contacted, with questionnaires and focus groups being set up.

Another focus for this year it to find a way to make what we do more sustainable. We are currently planning some Act 4 quiz nights held at different churches around Potters Bar, which will be a chance for you to have an enjoyable evening, whilst hearing all about our plans for the future. If you would like to come along to one of our quizzes, then please contact sam.smith@act4.org.uk to register your interest, and Sam will send you all the details you need to know! We will also be posting the quiz information on our website (www.act4.org.uk), Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Act-4-173805602824881/) and Twitter account (https://twitter.com/act4charity) so watch out for the updates!

We have a number of EXCITING projects lined up over the next year, all will be revealed soon...so watch this space! :-)

I would like to take this moment to THANK YOU all for your continued support! We look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Nikki
